Our first project award!

We're very excited to announce what was our very first full construction project as Arboralis has picked up our very first design award! It's a 100% strike rate that will be tough for us to live up to!

The real credit goes to Mel Miller and the team Funky Little Shack for a beautiful design which provides a beautiful secondary dwelling at the rear of the client's property in SE Queensland. The innovative CLT structure allowed some high vaulted ceilings which enhance the airy interior and gives a light and airy feel internally and over the front deck.

Secondary dwellings in CLT and prefab timber offer opportunities for many families to add in space for growing families, older relatives, or even a secondary income stream. They are being heavily incentivised in most state government housing plans and there are lots of opportunities to explore.
